Hey Everyone, it’s Troy. I wanted to make my first post to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and plenty of joy, peace, love and cheer this holiday season! We hope you’ve had a great day with family and friends.
This Christmas we find ourselves celebrating in Austria with the german side of the family. Our group hails from London, Boston, Seattle, Dubai, and Hamm (Germany). Pretty complicated – and great – world I find myself a part of, but fortunately we all celebrate Christmas!
Unlike the USA, Christmas is celebrated on the evening of the 24th in Germany, so we feasted on fondue and opened gifts last night already. Great change of tradition for those who cannot wait or those like us who have a birthday to celebrate on December 25th as well!
Hope you enjoy the pics. For reference, we are staying in the beautiful town of Solden (in the Otztal Alps) and had the pleasure to sneak out to the rather quaint Christkindlemarkt (Christmas Market) in Innsbruck.
More to come on the trip soon (I will let the expert handle that)!
